Professional land clearing, property expansion, and site preparation in Astorville and surrounding areas.
If you own property in Astorville, you already know the value of having clean, usable space. Whether you’re preparing for a new build, expanding your property, or improving access, proper land clearing is the first step in getting it done right.
At Canada Brush Control, we work with property owners throughout Astorville to clear land, open up space, and prepare sites for long-term use. From treed lots to partially developed properties, every job is approached based on the layout of the land and how you plan to use it moving forward.
In this area, properties often come with a mix of open space, bush, and uneven terrain. Knowing how to work through those conditions efficiently is key to creating a clean, functional result.
Land clearing in Astorville often involves working with a mix of conditions. Some properties are partially cleared, while others are fully treed and require opening up from scratch. It’s also common to deal with a combination of soil, rock, and uneven ground that needs to be worked through carefully.
Many properties in this area are being developed or improved over time, which means clearing isn’t just about removing trees—it’s about shaping the property so it can be used properly.
Whether it’s improving access, expanding usable space, or preparing for construction, the approach needs to match the layout of the land and the end goal of the project.
We provide a full range of land clearing and property improvement services in Astorville, including:
Properties in Astorville come in a wide range of layouts—from treed lots that need to be opened up, to partially cleared properties that require additional work to become fully usable.
We’ve worked on projects involving property expansion, access improvements, and preparing land for new builds. In many cases, it’s about refining the space—clearing what’s needed, improving the layout, and making sure the land is functional moving forward.
The projects below highlight some of the work we’ve completed in and around Astorville, showing how each property comes together from start to finish.
This project in Astorville involved opening up a heavily overgrown property and transforming it into a clean, functional space ready for future development. From the initial stages, the goal was to remove brush, trees, and overgrowth while beginning to shape the land into a usable layout.
As we pushed further into the property, the scope of the job started to take shape. Clearing boundaries were defined, and decisions were made on-site to improve workflow and overall efficiency. One key adjustment was establishing a centralized laydown area for trees and debris, rather than creating multiple smaller piles. This helped keep the site organized and made the cleanup process more efficient as the project progressed.
With the main section roughed in, we moved into one of the more technical phases of the job—cutting in a second driveway to create a circular entrance. This introduced a number of challenges, including tight working conditions, large 60–70 foot trees, and live power lines running directly alongside the work area.
To safely complete this stage, we worked our way in backwards, carefully controlling the direction of each tree as it came down to avoid any risk toward the road or power lines. The final tree of this section brought an added challenge, standing over 70 feet tall and containing an active wasp nest, which required extra caution to complete safely.
As the project moved toward completion, we focused on building out the new driveway, removing large stumps, and continuing to refine the overall layout of the property. Like many jobs in Northern Ontario, we also ran into real-world challenges along the way, including assisting a dump truck that became stuck while working through rough terrain.
In the final stage, we worked to complete the remaining clearing and rough grading, bringing the property together and preparing it for the next phase of the build. Partway through the day, severe weather moved into the area, with tornado warnings coming through on both phones and radio. With no shelter on site, the decision was made to shut things down and wait it out safely.
Despite the interruption, the project was brought together successfully. What started as an overgrown, difficult-to-access property was transformed into a clean, open, and functional space, complete with a new circular driveway and layout ready for development.

EXCELLENT Based on 26 reviews Posted on Dave S.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Thank you Grant for all your hard work! Highly recommended for anyone needing what I did! Here is a list of services I had done at my home. * Removed dead and dangerous trees from around the house and property. * Created proper drainage to manage the natural springs that were overrunning the area. [This will help my property dry out faster in the spring.] * Expanded and improved the parking area front of house. * Regraded much of the property for both better drainage and overall functionality.Posted on Matthew ChapmanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had Grant from Canada Brush Control clear our property in preparation for our future house build, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Grant was very approachable and made the entire process easy from start to finish. He kept us updated as the project moved along and even helped with the driveway installation. His pricing was very fair, and he took the time to explain each step of the process so we always knew what to expect. Grant left our building site neat and tidy, made sure everything was piled exactly where we wanted, and completed all the leveling work we requested. We’ll definitely be using Grant and Canada Brush Control again for our future projects — highly recommended!Posted on Kevin AirgidTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I own a a 4 acre mess of beautiful trees and land. I also own a ton of businesses and i can say first hand.. GRANT AND HIS TEAM LOVE WHAT THEY DO. and the work is was amazing fast and strategic, also i felt bad as it was way to cheap, i was shocked at at his way below completion pricing, but the most important for us was a dead line.
